Young Boy Breaks Stereotyping by Making Sure One Lady Goes Home Happy after JS Prom

Netizens are now calling him a real-life “Prince Charming” because not only is he handsome and intelligent—he has a heart of gold, too!

Many unforgettable memories are made during our teen years. Attending prom is probably one of the most memorable events in a teen’s life, and of course, everyone wants it to be special. Young boys and girls attend this once-in-a-lifetime event, hoping to dance with their long-time crushes.

Those who are dubbed to be beautiful and famous are the ones who get to dance most of the time, and because of this, many students have no one to dance with throughout the night. Yes, many go home broken-hearted, making their junior-senior prom one of their worst experiences ever. But for Chris Tutor, making everyone happy on that night was his goal—and he made sure this girl enjoyed her night.

The young student from Dagupan City in the Philippines is now an internet sensation after his “act of kindness” touched the hearts of many.

It was their school’s junior-senior prom, and he noticed one girl sitting alone in a corner. He knew he had to do something, or else he would go home with a lot of regret. He said in his post: “I am not meant to become just another man blinded with what was doomed beautiful, I have to grow some balls. I have to, it’s the right thing to do.”

After mustering enough courage, Chris approached the young girl and asked her to dance. “I need to break the curse some other men has been casting over her, not to play the prince-charming thing, but to be someone who will stand when everybody else just sit and show not a sign of care,” he said.

He learned a very important lesson after the dance: “I heaved a sigh of relief as I let her sit on her chair, and realization hit me hard. This world’s a segregator, conformists are everywhere. Stereotypists are scattered. Someone’s got to include them, someone’s got to play the unconventionality.”

Netizens were touched by his bravery and kind heart, with some even calling him a prince charming. His post has reached thousands of users, garnering 130,000 reactions, 39,000 shares, and 8,500 comments as of writing.
